Though we have been unable to travel to Haiti this past year, we continue to focus on inspiring hope from a distance and have learned so much along the way. Travel restrictions, safety concerns, even a worldwide pandemic can’t stop Hope Village Global and an incredible team of angels from helping how, when and where we can.
We continue to work with the school and orphanage we sponsor in Delmas, staying in close contact with the director and receiving photo and video clips of the children. We hold virtual meetings, trainings with the teachers, and support, guide and help how we can in a variety of situations.
Because of donations, food, clothing, rennovations, A Christmas for Haiti and a special Easter dinner was provided to over a dozen orphan children. Teacher’s salaries and our local operations manager are paid, helping them to support their families. Our vocational sewing program has made hundreds of masks, teaching and empowering women in the local community. Challenges cannot stop Hope!
What's Next?
We have big plans for the upcoming months so please be sure to follow us on social media and stay tuned. We’ll be sure to notify our friends first in our monthly newsletter. In the meantime, we’d love your help with our current project:
We’re gathering no-longer used smart phones in good condition to help us stay connected to our team and help in Haiti. We also want to provide help and training for students or community members in photography and videography to learn a new skill and create additional opportunities. If you have a phone you’re no longer using and willing to donate, please send to us here:

We’re collaborating with one of our sponsors, Yubiloop, on raising funds to sponsor the students at the orphanage through the end of the year to provide them with their fees and uniforms. A portion of every sale is donated to Hope Village Global! You need a Yubiloop on your phone! Shop here.
Thank you so much for your continued support!
Wishing you a memorable May!
